ABOUT ARTHOUSE ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ OUR VISION
Enriched Children Stronger Communities ArtHouse is a charitable organization which offers cost-free arts programs to children aged 7-11, helping them to experience the thrill of creative and artistic expression and share experiences in team building and social cohesion. ArtHouse is living its vision, building a strong foundation which serves children regardless of their socio-economic status, but focusing particularly on children from families who may not have the financial means to access fee related programs. with its newly introduced Front of the Line Program Registration Policy ArtHouse has succeeded because individuals, foundations, corporations, service clubs and local businesses have provided the financial resources to help it to sustain and increase its program capacity. We are very grateful to our Program Partners including the Ontario Trillium Foundation, RBC Financial, United Way of Oakville, YMCA of Oakville, Sheridan College, the Oakville Galleries, the Oakville Suzuki Association, our many venue hosts and our professional instructors and over 100 volunteers. And we thank Food For Life for providing nourishing food and refreshments for our programs. It is evident that ArtHouse is changing the lives of young children when you see the smile and confidence shine through their faces. In 2013, ArtHouse will serve over 500 young people with 26 programs in 12 locations. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________
