ArtHouse in partnership
with Canadian Music Competition welcomed 2011 CMC National
Winners; 12-year old Violinist Emma Meinrenken and Grand Prize Winner 16-year
old Pianist Jason Lee, and 12-year old Pianist Anastasia Rizikov, winner in
the 28 and under section of the Rotary International Piano Competition in
Mallorca, Spain in May 2011.
Since 1958, tens of thousands
of young Canadians have participated in CMC, a classical music
competition that has propelled untold numbers of musicians
towards professional careers, many who have gone on to become some of
the country’s leading musicians, and who have represented Canada in the
global cultural community.

Festival Quattro on behalf of Arthouse welcomes Internationally acclaimed Trio Micheletti -
Indiana University School of Music's 2009 Grand Prize Winners for
Performance of Music from Spain and Latin America. Canadian Violinist
Veronique Mathieu, Brazilian Cellist Andre Micheletti and Japanese
Pianist Jasmin Arakawa present a powerful blend of music from Barcelona
classics to the Tangos of Buenos Aires. They are joined by the
incomparable Oakville Children's Senior and Chamber Choirs,
complementing a truly enchanting evening of passionate music and the
arts.

March 11, 2011 Our joyous finale concert presented the captivating violinist
Kai Gleusteen, Concertmaster of the Barcelona Opera and International
Pianist Catherine Ordronneau who returned to join an ensemble with a
magnificent classical concert.
